Semester 1:

Students are introduced to the application process, financial aid information, scholarships, and essay writing. Students are given information about various careers and given ideas about future goals and how to begin to attain life goals.

Racial Injustice & the Law:
An exploration of how the early American legal system embedded race-based laws into the American culture and its evolution from from slavery to mass incarceration - and its implications today.
