ABOUT ME

Serving as Principal to gifted, educated, conscientious Takoma Academy students has been a blessing for the past 8 years! Teaching them in the classroom raises the bar and allows me to interact and engage with them in a way that keeps me in connection with their world while educating them and providing them with life lessons for this world and the world to come. While I possess degrees in Early Childhood Education, Math and Science Instruction (K-12), Curriculum and Instruction (K-12), and Administration and Supervision and have taught grades K12 and continue to serve as an adjunct professor while seeking a doctoral degree...my greatest desire is ensuring that our TA students are provided with an education that empowers them for everlasting excellence!
